Married to the Love of my life Marcelle for 42 years. Two children, Cyndi and Daniel along with Winston the Maltipoo.
What is your title or role at HBC?
Elder
Give a brief description of what you are responsible for…
An elder is one of a plurality of biblically qualified men who jointly shepherd and oversee a local body of believers. I’m also the Elder treasurer who works along side the finance team and the deacon of benevolence.
What do you love most about what you do at HBC?
Gospel!! Highlands adheres to the Biblical model of the new testament church. Expositional preaching. The sincere love and soul care for its people which is evidence of the Holy Spirit.
What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?
Psalm 27 :4-5 One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.
5 For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock.
I desire to glorify Christ now in this life and to be physically in his presence for eternity!
